Ordinary people doing extraordinary things.
“When I think of the wisdom and scope of God’s plan, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will give you mighty inner strength through his Holy Spirit. And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in god’s marvelous love. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now glory be to God! By his mighty power at work within us, he is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope. May he be given glory in the church and in Christ Jesus forever and ever through endless ages. Amen.” Ephesians 3:14-21 NL
Paul’s words above ring so eternal! Why? Because they are so in line with the heart of the Father, the heart of Jesus and are renewed in us daily by the Holy Spirit as we walk in intimate fellowship with our God through Him.
Every person has been born with a high purpose and a calling within the body of Christ. As believers our purpose is to love the Lord our God with all our heart, all our soul, all our mind, and to love others as our self. But, our calling is to play whatever part our Jesus has assigned to us to help others come to know Him and help others do the same. The heartbeat of NarrowGate Ministry is to walk in obedience to the heavenly Father, touching those we are ordained to touch with the love of Jesus, so that they may walk in the joy, freedom and amazing victory He shed His blood to give them. Our desire is to do our part to be His extended hand to all those He sends to us. Our calling is to help others realize their calling. Jesus alone will do this, but He allows us the privilege to be His vessels as we are empowered by the precious Holy Spirit to be His servants.
This is our call… this is our passion… this is why we breathe!
